Belles Win Super Sweepstakes!

2010 HISD Competition

The Bellaire Belles Varsity, Jr. Varsity and Officers won Super Sweepstakes at the HISD Dance competition hosted by MA Dance Company at Delmar Stadium on February 6.  Super Sweepstakes requires that dance teams score 90 or better on all dances. Varsity Team won High Point Award for Kick Routine.  Solo 9th & 10th Grade Division: Jackie F. won 1st place, Anna H. 1st Runner-up and Kayleigh S. won 4th Runner-up.  Duet 9th & 10th Grade Division:   Kayleigh S. and Nancy V. won 1st Place.  Trio 11th & 12th Grade Division:  Ariel D., Keke P. and Taylor P. won 1st Place. Duet 11th & 12th Division : Michelle J. & Rachel J. won 2nd Runner-up.  Large Ensemble Division: Belle Honor Corps won 2nd Runner-Up.  WAY TO GO BELLES!

Belles Win Sweepstakes, Solo Honors

The Bellaire Belles dance team received top honors Saturday in jazz, pom and kick dances performed at HISD's dance competition held at Delmar Stadium. The Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Dance Officers took home Super Sweepstakes trophies given only to teams scoring the highest in all categories.

Lt. Colonel Chloe Bennet won Outstanding Senior Soloist, with varsity dancer Edwin Cole winning runner-up.  Outstanding Junior Soloist was won by Kim Shi on the junior varsity team.

 The Belles are headed to the Texas Pride Competition on Saturday, Feb 21 and then on to Nationals in Honolulu, Hawaii March 14.
