Texas Pride Regional Dance Competition Results

Bellaire High School Belles Dance team took home the Grand Champion Award, 8 out 9 routines received Best in Category, and 2 routines received Judges Award.  The Varsity, Jr. Varsity, and Officers won the Sweepstakes award.  In addition there were several individual and group awards which are listed below.

Edwin C, & Brad M, won 1st runner-up in duet category and also won the Applause Award for duet.

Maggie W. & Kelly W. were winners in duet category.

Honor Corps won 1st runner-up in large ensemble.

Edwin C won 1st runner-up in solo category.

Belles Win Sweepstakes, Solo Honors

The Bellaire Belles dance team received top honors Saturday in jazz, pom and kick dances performed at HISD's dance competition held at Delmar Stadium. The Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Dance Officers took home Super Sweepstakes trophies given only to teams scoring the highest in all categories.

Lt. Colonel Chloe Bennet won Outstanding Senior Soloist, with varsity dancer Edwin Cole winning runner-up.  Outstanding Junior Soloist was won by Kim Shi on the junior varsity team.

 The Belles are headed to the Texas Pride Competition on Saturday, Feb 21 and then on to Nationals in Honolulu, Hawaii March 14.
